Supply chain traceability and EUDR compliance training and pilot

Submission dates: April 18^th, 2024.

MOCCA included in its extension proposal working with national cocoa commissions to help prepare the key points for when the EUDR takes effect. LWR is looking to pilot a free-use system for those producers with lower capacity. There is a short deadline for implementation since the regulations begin on December 30, 2024. MOCCA has identified that some countries are opting for national systems, but at the same time there is little coordination or unified sectoral approach. There are producer organizations and companies that act independently from a private point of view. ​
